Greendale Director, Rob Hooker, was pleased to attend the CIOB Conservation Conference: New ideas for tough times, held in London, on April 25th. Rob said: "It was fantastic to attend this conference, with interesting subjects and thought provoking presentations. The location itself, at One Moorgate Place, was stunning. St John’s Church, NorthReach Project, Broadstone

It was great to see progress at St Johns Church, Broadstone, where Maria was on a site visit and took these progress shots. The St John's Church NorthReach project in Broadstone, will be undertaken in a phased construction method with Phase 1 comprising of a north annex to the existing church and a main annex with atrium and multi-purpose space, together with associated office, kitchen/servery, general storage and toilet accommodation. A plantroom will be formed in the existing basement.  In addition, there will be alterations to the extant church fabric at the interface with the proposed annexes. Read more »

They visited Wareham Fire Station, where Jonny met site manager, Simon Copping, and Poole Dentistry, where Jonny was introduced to site manager, Dan Hawker. Orangery extension in Bournemouth

We thought you'd like to see a 'work in progress' blog for what will be a stunning orangery style extension for a private client in the Bournemouth area. The contract has been undertaken by Greendale's Small Works Division, and is now in the finishing stages, so we'll bring you more photos soon as we progress further. This orangery project has involved remodelling the ground floor to create a larger kitchen / dining / living space, with features that include a protruding bay window, 2 large lantern roof lights, all new electrical services / EV points (carried out by Greendale Electrical Division) and deep timber facia mouldings. Greendale Apprentice, Tyler, is awarded his Advanced Carpentry and Joinery certificate

We are all so thrilled to congratulate our apprentice, Tyler Cooper, who has now officially completed his Advanced Carpentry and Joinery Apprenticeship. Tyler joined Greendale in Sept 2018 from St Aldhelms Academy, following a successful two week work experience placement in 2017! Just goes to show how amazing the work experience program is and what it can lead to!   Tyler has worked exceptionally hard to achieve his qualification, and we are all very proud of him. Read more »
