Greendale Construction complete £1.3 million contract to build four bungalows for veterans in need at Bournemouth War Memorial Homes

Chartered Builders, Greendale Construction Limited, has successfully completed a £1.3 million project to construct four new bungalows for veterans in need at Poppy Lane for Bournemouth War Memorial Homes (BWMH).  Located at Woodsford Green, Castle Lane West, Bournemouth, Dorset, the 55-week project which commenced in May 2026 and achieved completion on June 12th 2026, saw the award-winning firm construct four, single storey houses with access drive, parking, EV chargers, and bin and cycle storage.  The contract involved the demolition of existing garages in order to construct two new 1 bedroom bungalows, and two, 2 bedroom bungalows.  All homes have PV panels, air source heat pumps, and underfloor heating, with the Greendale team also completing associated external works and landscaping. Greendale Construction Shortlisted in the prestigious RICS UK Awards 2026, South East region, Heritage category, for its Essential Repairs work at Uppark House and Gardens

Chartered Builders, Greendale Construction Limited is thrilled to announce it has been shortlisted in the prestigious RICS UK Awards 2026, South East region, Heritage category, for its Essential Repairs work at Uppark House and Gardens.  A fine example of a 17th-century country house, crowning the South Downs ridge in West Sussex, Greendale Construction successfully completed works for the National Trust property which included; the installation of a pair of new Bio Mass boilers fuelled by woodchip via a new auger and sweep system from wood chip stores which Greendale also refurbished.  A new Water Treatment Plant [WTP] building was also constructed in which new tanks, pumps and dosing systems were installed, as well as the installation of new fire protection and security system in the Mansion, East Pavilion, Tunnels, and wood chip / boiler house. Greendale Construction get muddy to raise funds for 2026 charity of the year, Elsie’s Rose

Seventeen employees of Chartered Builders, Greendale Construction Limited, will be getting muddy on Saturday 16th May as they compete in the annual Dorset Mud Run to raise funds for its 2026 charity of the year, Elsie’s Rose; a local charity which supports bereaved parents and those with children suffering life-limiting conditions. The team, made up of staff from both their Poole and Winchester offices and sites, will be doing their best to complete the 6k course with over 15 obstacles, with the aim to raise as much as possible for the charity, set up by Annie and Ben Gould after losing their beloved first-born daughter, Elsie, to a brain tumour in 2021. Greendale Construction’s growing Winchester HQ moves to Northfields House, Hampshire, to support the Company’s continued success.

Greendale Construction’s growing Winchester headquarters has moved its offices to Northfields House, Northfields, Twyford, Hampshire, SO21 1NZ, in a move to support the firm’s continued growth across Hampshire, Berkshire, Oxfordshire and the M27/M3 corridors.  The Winchester office team, comprising of Andy Musselwhite, Contracts Director; Simon Copping, Contracts Manager; Aedan Carroll, QS/CM, and Jamie Mulholland, Assistant QS, are main contractors for a large number of school SCOLA reclad contracts for Hampshire County Council, as well as successfully completing works for Lasham Gliding Society where works involved the renovation, rebuild and remodelling of the Society Clubhouse, after a fire on 29th September 2021 devastated most of the building. Greendale Construction successfully completes two major work contracts for Regional and City Airports at Bournemouth International Airport.

Chartered Builders, Greendale Construction Limited, has successfully completed two major projects at Bournemouth Airport outbound baggage expansion and Bournemouth Airport arrivals expansion for Regional & City Airports. Commencing in July 2024, the twelve month, £2.7 million works for Bournemouth Airport outbound baggage expansion included alterations and extensions to the outbound baggage operations with a new industrial steel frame and clad building providing cover for additional belts, carousels and out of gauge luggage. Alongside the external extension there were also minor alterations inside the departures terminal; removing the existing toilet block and making space for additional baggage belts. Greendale Construction worked closely with the client, design team and baggage handling contractor to construct the new building which facilitates a much-increased baggage handling capability. The airport operations were maintained through the duration of the expansion, and all trades worked around the flight schedules to complete these works. Read more »

Greendale Construction enhances local community experience with £600k upgrade for Willowbed Hall, Chickerell.

Chartered Builders, Greendale Construction Limited are working on a £600,000 contract for Chickerell Town Council, to enhance the local community experience at Willowbed Hall, Putton Lane, Chickerell, Weymouth.  The project, which commenced on 8th December, 2025, and will run for 29 weeks, will see the community hall benefit from a new single-story extension to the rear, creating a new office space, with a conversion of the existing offices into registrar and meeting rooms.  Greendale will also be upgrading the access road and car park to provide new drainage, as well as hard and soft landscaping with raised planters and a seating area. Greendale Construction smash fundraising target with charity rowing challenge raising £2,350 for Gabriel’s Journey

Greendale Construction has smashed its charity rowing challenge target, raising over £2,350 for Gabriel’s Journey, the company’s charity of the year.  A Greendale team of sixteen rowed a total of 151 miles, beating the target 90 miles originally set as the distance between the firm’s Poole HQ and its Winchester office and back again.   Read more »
