Year 10 Twynham School student, Miles Hooker, visited a number of Greendale sites yesterday as part of his week’s work experience with us.
Miles met Greendale Site Manager, Pete Marks, on the roof of the Russell Cotes Musuem where Greendale are carrying out refurbishment / replacement of the lead roof. Miles said; ” This is fantastic to see the skills of today’s craftsmen matching the original. It is great to see conservation work right up close.”
Miles also visited the Bournemouth Gardens kiosks project, and the New pharmacy extension at Boscombe and Springbourne Centre for Health.
He will gain site experience at Providence Surgery, Boscombe and Blackbush House this week, after spending a day at head office shadowing a Director and Contracts Manager.
Greendale wish Miles a happy and interesting time with us, and hope he enjoys his week as much as we will enjoy having him.
