Greendale are currently working on a £1.1 million extension and refurbishment project for Winton Primary School which will see the size of the school hall increased, along with two extensions which will form new class bases.
The works will be carried out over an eighteen week period during which time the school will remain open with minimal disruption to pupils and staff.
Winton Primary School Headmaster, Mr Neil Tarchetti, commented: “From the school’s point of view we are delighted to work with Greendale to begin the project to upgrade our facilities to those required to be a four form entry primary school. We have lacked communal areas that are fit for purpose and once construction of the new hall is complete we will be able to gather bigger groups of children and parents together, as well as enhance the quality of our PE provision.
