DESIGN MANAGER
Greendale Construction Limited is a leading Chartered Building Company offering a comprehensive service successfully delivering a wide range of projects across all sectors. We undertake new build, refurbishment works for our clients by traditional, design & build and partnering procurement methods. Project values range from £200,000 to £5,000,000.
We are seeking a Design Manager for our large construction site based in the centre of Southampton. This position would be on a temporary contract/freelance basis for this design and build contract.
The successful candidate will –
- Have a proven track record for co-ordinating all design elements of the project. Working with local authorities, structural engineers, architects and our clients ensuring that we comply with the employers requirements.
- Have significant experience in contracting design management
- Have excellent planning and organisational skills
- Be dynamic, innovative and able to work on one’s own initiative
- Demonstrate excellent motivational and communication skills.
- A relevant degree, HND or professional qualification would be an advantage.
- Be IT competent. An excellent package is offered. This position could either be PAYE or on a self employed basis.
