Greendale Construction were delighted to have been awarded a refurbishment project at the Maternity Unit at Poole General Hospital. The project consisted of converting 2 existing and very dated delivery rooms into 2 new delivery suites complete with ensuite shower rooms, with new flooring and suspended ceilings, upgraded lighting and ventilation, and all new medical equipment to bring the rooms up to date.
A new utility room and new patient kitchen area were also included within the project.
The project was managed by Site Manager Nick Brown and QS/Contracts Manager Pete Best. Pete says “It was great to be involved in a project with Poole Hospital, and the works were extremely well received by Estates Manager Stuart Mondon and all the staff and midwives who will be using this new set of rooms”.
