Director, Maria Seabright, and Contracts Manager, Neil Drissell were invited to attend the official opening of the new 150 seater stand, by the Deputy Mayor of Poole, Tony Trent, at the Dorset FA ground, Hamworthy, on the evening of Tuesday 19th March.
Greendale Construction announced its new partnership with Dorset County Football Association, in October 2023. The partnership will see Greendale taking on the naming rights of the Dorset Sunday Challenge Cup for the 2023-24 season. This year’s Greendale Construction Sunday Challenge Cup will see 25 teams compete to win the trophy, with the final due to take place at the County Ground on Sunday 19th May 2024.
Greendale is also an integral construction partner for Dorset FA in the development of the new 150 seater stand at Dorset County FA, Hamworthy, where we provided the works to construct the main base upon which the new stand was placed.
Maria Seabright, Finance & HR Director, Greendale Construction, commented: “Neil and I were honoured to be invited to the official opening on the new 150 seater stand completed by Greendale’s Small Works Division. The new steel framed stand sits on a reinforced concrete base which now supplies 150 seats, plus two wheelchair spaces, providing unobstructed views of the pitch under a cantilevered roof.”
