Greendale Construction have been awarded the contract by Poole Borough Council to improve the approaches to Alexandra Park.
The much loved and well used community park in Parkstone was showing signs of its age after celebrating its centenary a few years ago. The three entrances were drab and in a poor condition and Greendale have removed existing block work walls, hedges and railings and replaced them with traditional ornate park railings, imposing entrance gates, stone and brick pillars and lighting.
Director Rob Hooker says “As a locally based construction company, we’re very proud to have been appointed by Poole Borough Council as the contractors for the upgrade of Alexandra Park.” It’s very close to the hearts of Greendale’s workforce – as youngsters many of the Greendale team played in the park.”
