As part of National Apprenticeship Week, Maria took a group of year 10 BTEC Construction students from Poole High School, to visit one of our sites in Bournemouth.
Dressed in the appropriate safety gear of flourescent jackets and hard hats, the students were taken on a tour of the site – a new Citygate community church building in Bournemouth – and talked through the set up by Contracts Director, Andy Musselwhite, and Site Manager, Stuart Harrison.
Taking Construction students to visit working sites and get a real idea of how the construction industry works in an invaluable experience and one which Maria always takes an active interest in. These year 10 students are the construction industry’s future, so it’s important to train them to the highest degree now.
