As part of National Apprenticeship Week, Maria was at Bournemouth & Poole College with the first year full time construction students.
During the two sessions attended by approximately 70 students, Maria talked to the students about Greendales, the construction industry and the kind of jobs available in the construction industry. To make thngs fun, Maria also did a quiz about first impressions and how important these are when attending an interview.
Next came mock interviews in “how not to act in an interview,” showing what to do and what not to do in an interview, which everyone found fun and informative.
All students were given the opportunity of asking questions about the interview and asked if they would, or would not have given Maria the job.
