Greendale are patrons of the 2013 Bournemouth Air Show – one of the most impressive and well attended air festivals in the country. Taking place August 29 – September 1st, the beaches of Bournemouth and Poole will be transformed into a spectacular, award-winning aviation-inspired event. Truly a festival in every sense of the word, the Bournemouth Air Show is undoubtedly the largest seafront show of its kind in Europe.
In the air
Incredible jets, display teams and aircraft – the skies will be the stage for another great year of fantastic aerial shows and breath-taking acrobatics – display teams will be confirmed between now and August, come back and visit soon for updates and information.
On the ground and at sea
Soak up the festival atmosphere and enjoy visiting 1.5 miles of county show trading stalls between Boscombe and Bournemouth Piers as well as the Royal Navy and RAF interactive military villages, not forgetting the Royal Marine beach assaults.
Night Air…two piers, two stages, three nights!
This year’s Night Air entertainment is anticipated to feature live music at Boscombe and Bournemouth Corona Music stages (Boscombe ticketed), entertainment in the Lower Gardens and seafront, street entertainers, dusk displays, fireworks and other performances.
