Greendale has recently become members of the Green PEA program. The Green Positive Environmental Action (PEA) is an innovative energy and cost saving certification scheme that offers business members a free energy usage survey and provides recommendations for energy saving measures.
The Green PEA scheme is managed by a team of Poole–based businessmen and women, who all share the same passion and commitment to drive down carbon emissions and help businesses reduce their energy costs.
The Green PEA CIC is responsible for running the Poole Green PEA scheme, for providing support to other licensed Green PEA schemes and for managing and protecting the Green PEA brand. As a CIC it is a non-profit making organisation, with any surplus money re-invested into the scheme or the local economy.
Greendale director, Rob Hooker, said: “Greendale are very pleased to be involved with the Green Pea Scheme. Already we are finding useful practical information and links to the “Green” supply chain which will make important improvements on our energy usage and the environment, both at Head Office and on our sites.”
