We are delighted to announce Greendale has been shortlisted for the South West Built Environment Awards in the category of SME of the Year 2018.
Returning for the 11th consecutive year, the awards reward the very best in the South West built environment, and will take place at Ashton Gate Stadium, Bristol on 22 June 2018.
The awards are recognised as being in a class of their own; celebrating best practice combined with great entertainment and an effective platform for networking. Having gained traction over the previous decade, the awards have continued to grow year on year, and the 2018 awards are set to be the biggest event yet, with over 500 industry figures in attendance.
We are particularly pleased to have recognised as a contender for SME of the Year, as an important ethos of Greendale Construction, is that our staff are our biggest and greatest asset. In this respect, we believe we stand out from the crowd through our amazing work force. We have very little movement of labour, and encourage and promote from within, so all can reach their full potential. We train at all levels – from school work experience placements, apprenticeship schemes, graduate professional qualifications and specialist sectors.
So many other organisations are involved in Greendale’s success as a business, and we would not be where we are today without our great relationships with architects, structural engineers, web site providers, accountants, quantity surveyors, contract administrators, health and safety advisors, PR providers, and other outside agencies such as Bournemouth Property Association and the Dorset Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
