Helping our young people choose, and and train in a career path they will love, is a subject very close to our hearts at Greendale. So, we were delighted to welcome two work experience students this week, who pulled on the Greendale high viz and helmets and got stuck right in!

Grace, a year 10 student from Corfe Hills Schools has been shadowing our Finance & HR Director Maria, as well as enjoying a trip out to sites to meet some of the other Greendale team. Grace has also been helping Maria with some admin duties within the office. It’s been a pleasure having Grace who also made some amazing cakes for the team to enjoy!

Finn is in Year 10 at Bishop of Winchester Academy, and has a keen interest in Construction, so we were thrilled he wanted to join Greendale on work experience. Finn has spent the week on site shadowing our Working Site Foreman, Shaun Nicholls, and one of our skilled site carpenters, Simon, learning various aspects of a construction site. Finn has been marvellous at getting stuck in with the team, and has gained a varied insight to the different trades within construction, and says he would now really like to be an apprentice bricklayer when he leaves school. We’re so glad we’ve inspired you on your career path, Finn!
