Project Description:
Greendale undertook this interesting refurbishment project at two areas in the heart of the very popular Upton Country Park. Working closely with the Conservation Officer on these listed historic building we carefully demolished an existing Brick Built Fowl shed and saved the bricks and roof tiles for the refurbishment of the delightfully quirky Kennel Building – raising and re constructing the roof installing new doors, new railings and extensive repairs to the brick structure. We also repaired many aspects of the Stable yard and its approach including a new retaining wall, new sections of brick paviors and new yard drainage coupled with hard landscaping and metal kerbing.
