Project Description:
The beach hut refurbishments on Sandbanks are one of Greendale’s most coastal projects ever undertaken. What was considered to be the optimum time of year to undertake a full refurbishment of two blocks, the team were faced with un-spring like weather with torrential rain and gale force winds.
Presented with an immovable deadline by the council, Greendale’s Small Works division was undeterred by adverse weather conditions; focused on the quality and deliverability as desired by the client. The team were supplied with all of the relevant tools and health & safety supervision to make sure that the programme was not delayed, nor did if fall over budget.
The team achieved a successful refurbishment of the coastal beach huts. Gratefully received by the client, the beach huts were ready and open to be used in time for the 2018 summer season.
