Project Description:
Greendale Construction Limited worked on the refurbishment and re-cladding of the 2-storey Hart Plain Junior School block. The work was completed as part of the Hampshire County Council SCOLA Framework.
Scola works completed at Hart Plain Junior School
- Removal of the existing glazed fenestration and addition of high performance insulation and an outer covering of brick slips and panels.
- The existing single glazed Crittall windows were replaced with double glazed aluminium units.
- The flat roof was replaced with thermal insulation and PV panels were added.
- Internally, classrooms and non-teaching areas were upgraded with:
- New services,
- flooring
- ceilings and decoration.
- LED lighting was installed throughout and Hybrid Ventilation and Heat Recovery units to all classrooms.
