Project Description:
Greendale Construction Limited completed a £2.3 million project at Crookhorn College, Waterlooville, as part of the Hampshire County Council SCOLA framework.
The 42 weeks’ work at Crookhorn College consisted of the re-cladding of the building including the removal of the existing fenestration and addition of high performance insulation, and an outer covering of brick slips and panels. The existing single glazed Crittall windows were replaced with double glazed aluminium units. The flat roof was upgraded with thermal insulation, and PV panels were added.
Internally, rooms were upgraded to suit modern requirements, including LED lighting throughout and Hybrid Ventilation and Heat Recovery units to all classrooms.
