Project Description:
Greendale Construction were appointed as Principal Contractor to deliver two retail kiosks & associated hard landscaping within Bournemouth’s Lower Gardens. The two new food kiosks replaced the out-dated existing structures and provided a well needed modernisation to the area.
The kiosk orientation was carefully considered to decrease pedestrian congestion, with a dual aspect design helping to reduce long queues. The team used locally sourced natural stone in conjunction with a sedum roof to minimise environmental impact and encourage biodiversity.
Additional features to the kiosks included high specification lighting design and installations to create differing illumination colour effects at night.
