Project Description:

The former Magistrates Court at Wareham, built in the 1960’s, has undergone complete refurbishment and modernisation to provide new offices and manufacturing facilities for Biotrack Limited. Biotrack are a company of dedicated biologists who manufacture and provide radio tracking and radio tag services for all species of animals.

The internal alterations comprised the conversion of the two court rooms by means of the addition of a mezzanine floor to provide production and engineering facilities and generous staff room and stores to compliment the two-storey office accommodation, with new modernised washrooms.

Externally the building has received modern cladding treatment with coloured weatherboarding on insulation backing at first floor level. In addition, works included insulated renders on the ground floor, and a complete coloured aluminium window and door replacement installation, bringing the building fabric forward to current standards.

This was a great transformation from a rather run down and unloved court building into a new state-of-the-art facility for Biotrack Ltd.  Our work has given the building a new lease of life and we wish Biotrack every success at this new site.  It was a very enjoyable and collaborative project, and the end result is a worthwhile and terrific transformation which we hope will serve Biotrack for many years to come.”- Rob Hooker, Director, Greendale Construction.

“Greendale Construction were a pleasure to work with throughout this project and did a fantastic job turning this eyesore of a building into a wonderful new workplace for everyone at Biotrack.” –  Brian Cresswell, MD, BioTrack.
