Project Description:
Greendale Construction were appointed on the recladding of this two storey ROSLA block with aluminium windows, brick slips and a rendered façade. The works also included the removal of the existing asbestos, aluminium and glass cladding and replacement with a structural insulated render system including a Gebrik system – an insulating brick cladding system.
The team carried out these works whilst the school remained fully operational and worked closely with Hampshire County Council to ensure it complied with all client requirements. Alderwood School was completed on time and within budget in January 2019.
