Take a look at our latest progress shots. The scaffolding is now down and the 2 additional top floors can be seen. Internally each floor is at a different stage and some studios are nearing completion.

Bernard St, Southampton – £4.2 million design and build contract.
Here are some photos showing the progress being made at our contract in Southampton.
The £4.2 million pound design and build contract will see Greendale convert the 1970s office block at 24 Bernard Street, Southampton, into 79 student studio units.
The existing three storey block and basement will be completed in two phases; a fit out, due for completion in August 2016, and a vertical extension with two new floors created, due for completion September 2016.
The basement of the building will be developed to form the common areas; reading rooms; cinema room; laundry, with all other floors designed for student accommodation.
Currently, whilst we are continuing on the inside of the existing building, the top two additional floors are now well underway. We are using a Metsec lightweight frame construction as can be seen in the photos.
