Yet another fantastic project complete, thanks to our professional and talented team. Westmount House at Sheiling School, Ringwood, has benefitted from a complete renovation and new large extensions.
The build involved the demolition and removal of sections of the existing building as well as constructing two new extensions, creating seven new bedrooms, laundry, shower rooms and bathrooms. A new stairwell has also been built, feeding into the new extensions and the second floor residents flat which has been refurbished with a kitchen and shower room.
The existing house has now benefits from new underfloor heating and M&E services. Many original features have been restored with circulation areas widened. A new roof with slate covering and the latest in regulation insulation ensure the house is economically cost effective throughout the colder months. The Federation of Master Builders company also installed new DG windows, created a new kitchen, boot room and office, as well as re-plastering throughout, restoring coving and redecorating before handing back to their clients on time and on budget.
Externally, Greendale focused on mirroring the existing render feature and band coursing in order to merge and blend the old with the new, creating a very impressive exterior to the building which will be officially opened with a ceremony in February.
