Greendale undertakes more SCOLA re-clad projects for Hampshire County Council

It was great to see two amazing SCOLA re-clad projects we are undertaking for Hampshire County Council last week. We had a tour of the Marnel Junior School with Simon Copping, Greendale Site Manager, and then onto Testbourne Community School where “stand in” Site Manager, Dave Neil, took us around as Blake Lennan, Site Manager for this project is on leave. Rob Hooker, Greendale Director, commented; “Both phased projects are progressing very well and will provide much needed improvements; transforming the classroom blocks into new teaching spaces fit for 2022 and beyond. St Aldhelm’s student, Steven, joins us for work experience

Maria took a trip to Upton Country Park where we are working on the exciting Welcome Centre project, to see our work experience student, Steven. Steven is from St Aldhelm's Academy and over his 2 weeks work experience with us he is learning about various aspects of the construction industry, as he is hoping to work within the industry when he leaves school. Steven has been learning about so much thanks to Terry, one of our experienced and long-standing site operatives. Read more »

Scaplen’s Court, Poole Museum

Scaplen’s Court, Poole Museum

We're working on repairs and a new roof to the rear of Scaplen's Court which is part of Poole Museum. Scaplen's Court is a Grade I listed medieval building dating back to the 1300s. The building we see today is mainly a courtyard inn built in the 1500s and 1600s. The inn was called The George, and graffiti made by Parliamentarian soldiers who were lodging here in the 1630s can be seen carved into one of the stone fireplaces. Read more »
